We had a quiet but very nice Halloween. I really like when Halloween is on Saturday because then we get to spend all day with Brian (even if some of that time is him working). Brian carved our pumpkin and I finished up Katie's costume. We had people over in the evening and continued our tradition of homemade hot chocolate and doughnuts and then watched a "scary" movie that turned out to be just dumb. Overall, a great day. We only had a few trick or treaters. I was hoping for more, but I guess leftover candy is always a good thing.
As always, Brian did an amazing job on our pumpkin...
Thwomp from Mario...in case you didn't know.
And now, what most people came to see...
Becca was a little Austrian girl (I guess you could call her Heidi), and Katie was her sheep!
Silly Katie! Sheep don't stand up!We had a fun time making Katie's costume. It's just an old onesie with cotton balls hot glued all over it. Brian made her ears and tail. Becca's dress actually came from Austria! My Dad bought it for her when he went on a band trip with my brother.
And well, I know this is not related to Halloween at all and I've already posted multiple laughing videos of Katie and Becca...but this one is pretty funny.
After filming this Brian made the comment that we should probably film Katie screaming one time because there are many out there who think Katie is happy all of the time. She has a little attitude problem sometimes.
We hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

Cute!
Katie has such a cute laugh! I love it when they crack up over random things. :)
Great pictures! I especially like Paula peeking out the door of the pumpkin picture. :) (Great pumpkin, as always!)
Cute costumes! Katie makes an adorable sheep.
That video of Katie laughing is SO great! I think if I'm ever feeling sad about anything, I could just watch that and not help but smile. They were so cute on Halloween. Thanks for letting me be a part of your night!
The sheep costume is the cutest baby costume I have ever seen! Did you make it?
What adorable costumes! :) I'm glad you had a fun Halloween!
Those costumes are so cute! My mother-in-law has a toy like the one Katie is playing with. Both of my boys love it, too. :)
Those costumes are fabulous, and Brian, we are always impressed with your pumpkin carving abilities. We feel pretty good if ours get all aspects of a face, let alone look good. Your girls looked adorable!!!
Oh my goodness! Those costumes turned out so cute. I really like the sheep costume idea. The pumpkin turned out great as well.
Okay--the sheep costume is so adorable! Love it. Katie looks "baa"tiful! Ha ha.
Your girls are absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing with us.
